Used to use the scan and go app several times a week. But a few weeks ago my app stopped working. It lets me scan everything but when I try to pay it errors out. Code 01. So frustrating. Nobody knows what's wrong. I want my scan and go back!!!

Went to Sam's and used the app for the 1st time. It went well scanning and paying only to find out that it charged my card an additional $40 as a separate transaction with no receipt or anything. It's sad because the one reason I hate going to Sam's is the long line and really thought this was going to solve that problem. I won't be using the app or shopping at Sam's I wish I could cancel my membership.

1 day all of sudden, I get an error message while checking out on app, it basically stated it payment didn't go thru, BUT it did, twice. Sam's gave me the hardest time to try and get a refund. They stated they had to look at cameras before they would even consider giving me a refund, days later....nobody can given me any explanations to anything. In the meantime I am out $250. I am still disputing even if I have to hire a lawyer, because this is plain BS.. Costco here we come.

What everybody else said. App worked flawlessly until two weeks ago. Now it is worthless due to the inability to accept payments.

We loved this app when we first downloaded it about 6 months ago and used it w/o issues. In the last month we've had error messages as we've tried to pay and had to go through the line instead. Today our cashier said it was due to a 'limit" of items you could scan of 30. We only had 27 items and had used it often with over 30. Where does it indicate that you may only scan 30 items or less, and why didn't it work today then?

Used the app in the Georgia Sams Club and it worked great but I can not check out if I try to use it at the Beaumont TX Sams Club, :( I was told it was their wifi there ????

Used it today for the first time, worked great. However, I kept losing my internet connection in different isles of the store. Had to connect to in-store WiFi. Also a couple produce items were not in the system (no scan, or manual entry), so I had to go through the line anyway to scan those two. Kind of defeats the purpose. No?

App used to work fine until a month ago. The app now ask me to log in while in the store but it always fails due to an error stating "missing credentials".i never had to sign in before and for some reason it works fine at home to open the app but in store it does not work anymore. Please fix this!!!

Worked great until a few days ago. Prompts me to log in, then I got the same error pop up as everyone else. Called Sams and they supposedly did something to fix it. They also said if it didn't work again to delete the app and reinstall it. Well I did all that and it still says missing credentials. Side note, I can log in to Sams club app no problem. Only scan and go has its head up it's a$$. Fix this app quick or I will start going to Costco from now on !!!!!!!

Same exact problem as above!

Have the same problem with IOS version. Did not have problem with the old version but recently it was updated to v. 14.0 and problems started to occur. Sent complaints on Sam's Club website but go no response.

I can no longer log into the iOS version of this app as well. Worked fine for quite some time, and then prompted me to log in again, but fails, citing missing credentials or incorrect email address or password. I can successfully log in to the Android version with the same credentials. At least my Sam's still has the self check out line :(

I've also used the app several times in the past and really love the convenience of it. However, this past Sunday, I went to Sam's and tried to use the app. It wanted me to login (which it hasn't had me do after I first began with the app). When I tried to log in, it just kept pooping up with a "Missing Credentials" error. I was not able to use the app and wound up standing in line, waiting... So much for the convenience. :/

I had the same problem logging in but then found if I close the app then reopen it it will already be logged in??? My main problem now is I can't PAY I have to still go through the line.

Just came from Sam's Club, tried to use app like I did Saturday and it kept saying "missing credentials".It worked on Saturday. It wouldn't work today even after 4 tries so I waited in line, paid and left.. Got home and tried logging in to website and it worked just fine.. Guess app works when it wants to.. Very annoying.. If it happens again I am removing the "convenience" of this app.

Enjoying using the app. Lessons learned. The app can struggle to achieve focus on a UPC bar code on a round object like a cylinder of cheese or a jar, but it eventually gets it. Make sure you have everything you want before you start the checkout process. You can't add or subtract items to youread order once you pay for it. Editing an order should be one of the first app updates.

We downloaded this app to my wife's iPhone 7. Worked well in-store and scanner is amazingly quick. They have yet to integrate the electronic receipt with the Sams Club login, so you ONLY have a copy on the phone you downloaded to. But the convenience of checking out with the bar code at the door is excellent! We rarely buy more than 20 items, so we didn't approach the limit. I hope the storage of these receipts on the Sams Club site is retroactive (under in-store purchases).

Actually you can share your receipt from the app, and email yourself a PDF of the receipt.

I love the convenience of Sam's new Scan & Go app, however, I typically buy 25-30 items and here's were the problem begins. At the door, I have been told more than once by the employee that they will only allow up to 20 items on the Scan & Go as they have to count EVERY item to ensure that nothing is being stolen. If I'm limited to 20 items, there goes all of the convenience and if they begin to enforce that limit, I'm done with Scan & Go and will go back to the cashier or go elsewhere.

Most efficient use of my time.

The scanner worked flawlessly. I just scanned each item as I placed it in my cart and then hit pay. No more standing in those crazy long checkout lines.
