Security concern?

Im not sure if it is a coincidence, but I just started using this app this past week. I put my visa debit card in the app and made a couple purchases. (I have to say - I love the convenience of the app!!) I logged into my bank account this weekend and saw my debit card was used to make an attempted online purchase that I didnt make. Although it wasnt a Sams Club purchase, I find it weird that this fraudulent charge appeared only after I started used this app. Im hoping its secure, as I would like to use it again in the future!
